How do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets here! No printer? No problem! We can scan your ticket on your phone. We strongly recommend that ScareHouse. tickets are purchased online in advance. Only tickets will be sold at the door and we sell out frequently. Purchase online and early to reserve your date. You may arrive at any point within your 30 minute window. Upon arrival a customer service agent will add you to our queue. Only RIP ticket holders are granted immediate access to ScareHouse. Absolutely no weapons, smoking, or alcohol permitted on site.

What are the different ticket types?

General Admission tickets are purchased for a specific day and entry window. You may arrive at any point within your 30 minute window. Upon arrival a customer service agent will assist you. RIP tickets do not need a specific date and time. They can be used any date and time we are open during the regular season. RIP ticket holders bypass the general admission line. No additional purchase is necessary. RIP Tickets are not available or applicable during Creepy Christmas.

ScareHouse is open on select dates from September 17th through November 6th.

Does ScareHouse accept credit cards?

Buying tickets with a credit or debit card online in advance (or purchasing RIP tickets at local Costco warehouses) are the ONLY ways to gain admission. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, and American Express on site in our merchandise area.

Are ScareHouse Actors Allowed to Touch You?

ScareHouse actors will not touch you and our entire attraction is closely monitored by security cameras. All haunted house cast members are 18 years of older and must pass criminal background checks annually.

When is The Basement coming back?

The Basement is an intense and immersive theatrical experience for those 18 and over. Guests step into the darkness to face a series of challenges and close encounters with a talented cast of experienced actors. Sign the waiver and prepare for interactive encounters featuring electricity, adult situations, and tactile challenges designed to push guests waaaay out of their comfort zone. However it is still off-limits due to ongoing concerns over Covid19. ScareHouse hopes to bring this experience back as soon as possible.

Is ScareHouse open if it rains?

Yes! ScareHouse is completely indoors and open rain or shine.

We’re so grateful to everyone who supported us during our time at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall but we didn’t see any way to continue operations at that location for a variety of reasons. We’re currently exploring options to bring our headliner attraction back in 2025.

No. A new ticket is required for each visit.
Yes. We take the safety of our customers and employees very seriously. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. The first violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and after the second, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Please do not visitif you are intoxicated. It is not f un for you or our actors. If we believe you are too intoxicated to enter ScareHouse and pose a threat to yourself, other customers, or our actors, you will be asked to leave without refund.
Ew, no. Smoking or vaping is NOT allowed inside ScareHouse or the mall.
